About Callen Kennels

Hi, I'm Susan Callen, the owner of Callen Kennels and Ruff House Dog Supplies. My home, the Boonie Farm, sits on 54 acres of quiet country land. I began breeding AKC Miniature American Shepherds in 2009, and this breed has been part of my life ever since. Their intelligence, heart, and athletic ability make them truly special. Here, puppies are raised as family—given room to play, learn, and grow into strong, confident young dogs. I focus on producing well‑structured, well‑balanced companions who are ready for adventure, performance, or simply being the perfect partner at your side. I am an active member of the North East Miniature American Shepherd Club (NEMASC) and show my dogs in conformation.
